Grant Process

• Submit all grant applications by specified grant deadlines.
• The Grant Committee will review applications and award funds based on the criteria set out in each of the grant applications.
• Annual grant cycle awards are finalized by vote of the Grant Committee and approved by the Kent Community Foundation Board of Directors.
• Notification will be sent to the grant requestor within two weeks of Board approval.
• Grant agreements and follow-up reports are assigned to grantees.
• Reports are brief and are due back no later than six months after the grant is awarded.
• All follow-up reporting requirements must be completed by the set deadlines for future grant eligibility.
