The Jan Louise Quitoriano Scholarship was created by friends and family in memory of Jan, who was a committed student with a focus on business and marketing studies. Education was very important to both Jan and his family. He continued to focus on his education despite his battle with cancer.

Jan’s battle with brain cancer ended about 3 weeks before graduating from Kent-Meridian High School in June 2023. This Scholarship represents the determination that Jan Louise Quitoriano showed in his effort to do his best every day. The Scholarship will be awarded to one or more applicants who have demonstrated a commitment to their education by overcoming a personal hardship. Applicants receiving the Scholarship may use the funds at any accredited postsecondary institution including Vocational/Technical Programs.

Applicants must be graduating seniors from Kent-Meridian High School.
